A big thankyou for all the interest etc. I spent the day yesterday on a friends yact trawling Portsmouth harbour, both by boat and some inacessable creeks by car. All to no avail. Anyone who has seen the boat or the photos of her would agree that she is instantly recognisable. Reckon I did too good a job of the restoration!!! Cannot understand why she would go missing with no mast- just dosen't add up.
Keep your eyes peeled. Cheers

Just one thought, and I'm not being funny so please don't take offence....No mast so if she had sunk at her mooring would you notice??

The other thing is whether one of the local yards has had a case of mistaken identity and recovered the wrong yacht and yours is now sitting (sort of of) legitimately in a local boat yard?

As you say, to steal such a distinctive yacht with no mast is very odd.

Good luck.. Nick

Sure, take your point. However, I visited the mooring yesterday where the depth was showing as 8.5 metres. The mooring buoy, which although a substantial one, would have been dragged under. It was bobbing about quite happily. VERY CONFUSED????
