missing posts

you might well mutter "thank god" but I keep finding that some of my posts never appear on the board. typed OK with my one finger and sent off into the electronic netherworld, but never to appear on this website.

Do others find the same thing? Have I managed to put myself on "ignore"? or more likely, has my wife?
 
On a slightly more serious note. If you've made a post, you should get a screen saying that the post has been made. If you don't get that, backspace, and send again.
 
Well you've made 3399 including this one which I can see so there can't be a lot wrong. I couldn't find a post to reply to the other day and searched and searched but still couln't find it. Half an hour later there it was.
I put it down to me being a bit daft.
 
The vast majority of missing posts turn up on a different forum. There was a period when posts didn't arrive due to ybw server problems, but mostly it's because people have lost their post down a page or on a different forum.

An accurate account of the post will normally let us find it, if it's been posted
