Hi John: Have been a bit busy lately, so replies have been slow. One of the benefits of coming back to VT was that they will probably take the keel bulb off and lift the sleeve out of the keel box. This will allow repairs to occur in the box, without having to mess around inside the boat. It is however yet to be confirmed, give them a day or so.
She does usually motor on one engine on deliveries, unless they are in a hurry. In this case it was also to make sure that the keel and rudder temporary repairs were not stressed en route. It all worked well.
Thanks. Glad you like them. I'm not showing them in order to open up the discussions again...merely to show some angles that have not been seen before, especially this one...
- where you can clearly see the cable attached to the Ecstasea in the full size image.
Only a couple of the pictures really demonstrate the size of the yacht, where if you look closely enough on the photos showing the whole yacht, you can make out people....its enormous.
Great!! Some fantastic photo's. It's not till you see a person on the boat that you get a true idea of how big she is.
It's a shame the pics were taken in those circumstances.....another time they would be just great photo's of a beautiful boat in a nice setting.
I saw her today safe and sound and snug in Pompey Harbour - and blimey you're not kidding. The mast seems as tall as the Millennium tower [without the stress cracking presumably!].
