Honey Tulle was an ancient remedy for healing areas of the body with a poor blood supply. It's still used today for treating persistent bedsores in the bedridden elderly, and the legs and feet of diabetics.

The use of saliva and urine is based on sound principles, as both have an anti-microbial constituent: human saliva containing <0.217 g/l Thiocyanate, and urine (either gender) typically containing <0.007 g/l Thiocyanate. (both levels higher in smokers) Urine from a healthy person is also sterile.

Tea Tree Oil (melaleuca alternifolia) was known to have been used to treat the wounded in the Napoleonic Wars, and was standard issue to Australian troops in WWII, when of course the manufacture and use of antibiotics was in it's infancy.

Benefits of Arginine HCL in improving Wound Healing and study show that Arginine improved by many medical associate. Wound healing is a great way to get relief quickly and it is not much expensive.

FFS don't be thick every one knows that Arginine is a non essential amino acid which is not required to be supplemented in diet or any other form. Anyway, its readily available in all common food sources.

I say you are a t'wat, who has just come on here to indirectly advertise a product. Do it on someone else thread, loser.

Drugs

In Dubai many of the kids & even adults got cuts from coral, & in a hot country they invariably went septic. We used to have a wonder powder called Cicatrin, which I believe is no longer available in UK, but you can order it online.. best remedy for minor cuts, why dont you check with your GP?

When I was in the Caribbean I flipped a kayak in the surf and knocked a hole in my leg just below the kneecap. The medicos at the nearest resort didn't want to bother to see me despite my friend (an ex aussie army medic) saying it would probably need stitches. Anyway, medicos at the resort told the chap I was talking to to give me some rum to pour on it and send me on my way. The nice chap even gave me a can of 7-up to mix it with.:D

When I bruise or cut my shins in or about the boat I get little sympathy from my Doctor wife.

She is very good at diagnosis but starts from the premise that I am going to die and works backwards from there!:D

when i was a kid i used to suffer a lot with boils i could have up to 25 on one leg at one time, the doctor always told my mother it was an age thing and i would grow out of it in time (he was right ) but meanwhile bath in salt water as hot as possible, that seemed the only cure in them days

I won't give all the details because some of you may be about to eat lunch, but Mrs jhr had a deep wound as a result of developing a haematoma (well, I think that's what it was) some years ago. The Practice nurse called twice a day, for several weeks, to pack it with seaweed. Took time to heal but it worked a treat.

I didn't have many boils as a kid, but when they came they made up for it in size.
One on my shoulder was lanced by my mum... the nearest British military hospital was hours away.
She then slapped on a poultice made of raw sliced spuds to sook out the poison.
It seemed to work, although the potato wasn't very appetising after a couple of days in tropical heat.
I still have the scar.

I'm going to give it one more go; and if you guys tell me to stop then I will stop.

This thread references Aloe Vera, it references Arnica, it references Honey, it references Rosehip Oil and also Tea Tree Oil.

Our Spanish product range has products that include all of the references above.

They can work in various ways and help to improve skin hydration and alleviate skin conditions; wounds, dry skin, sunburn, pain, skin conditions. Just by making this statement then I'm probably considered a "snake oil salesman"; you lot can be a cruel bunch so why would I set myself up for a knockdown?

Read this and weep: (it made me shed a tear)

A 4 year old girl with eczema

Young girls mother:
Thank you for your advice. I will keep you posted. She is suffering and I really do hope it works for her!

2 weeks after using our Aloe and Rosehip gel

Well the progress with my daughters skin is so much better! Her skin feels a lot smoother and she doesn't scratch as much. She even wants to put the gel on now as before it was a fight to put creams on her.

A few days later her mother wants more and says:

Thank you very much. It is improving by the day. I am so excited! It's been 4 years of hell for us both and now she is happier which is brilliant.

Genuine feedback (got lots more) so if you've got a skin problem, a wound, pain, crows feet (Pauline?), don't you owe it to yourself to try?

That's it from me (over and out!)

When my daughter was born she had a birth mark that ulcerated and basically took all the flesh off the inside of her right palm, wrist and forearm, after laser surgery at Great Ormond Street they used seaweed to pack the wound, the great thing about seaweed dressings is that you don’t have to worry if the dressing sticks just put a new one over it and the body will break down the old stuff on its own.

Locally we find a swim in sea water is good for cleansing and healing wounds.
However you need to avoid tropical seas and water fouled by animal life. Further, I understand the theoretical justification is weak. So it may be that it is the thorough cleansing that does the job, and you take a small chance of introducing infection.

If I have a major or minor wound I want cutter or Tudor doc on the case, anybody advancing with homeopathic remedies or anything purchased in Holland and Barret will not be welcome.
