What a weeks holiday !
Return flights booked for CI so we could spend a relaxed week chilling out.
Managed a few cruises around the Islands including a romantic cruise with just swmbo and I .
It wasn't until the following day I was to learn the Romantic mist was actually Volcanic ash and the return flights home were canceled doh !
At least we weren't totally stranded, it just meant Felix was coming home early and we had a fantastic cruise back, flat calm seas, sunny ,almost zero wind and 3-4 miles vis .
Not sure how the Ash affected us, we have washable air-filters however I carried 4 spares to be on the safe side, but none were required, there was very fine light gray sand settling especially in wet areas , the radar was very sensitive and shadows more common.

Diesel has gone up bit on the south coast ouch !
