Milliput Epoxy Putty for Gelcoat Repairs?

Milliput is widely used by modellers so a shop that sells to them should stock it.
Wonderland Models on Lothian Road seems to stock it. Cheaper than online too.

Is there any reason to prefer a particular variant for this job (plugging small surface pits in gel coat)?

I was planning to get the white superfine stuff, but appearance is not very important in this location, and perhaps one of https://forums.ybw.com/attachments/81633221-ae9a-4ca9-9690-1eeb516969fe-jpeg.206510/the other variants would have better adhesion and/or impermeability?

I have mostly used the uncoloured (yellowish) version. Adhesion to a prepared surface has never been a problem.

Was perhaps a bit too stiff to be easily worked into all the little pits int patch, and was a bit hard to smooth level too. Havnt tried to sand it yet
