Millbrook Boat Mattresses

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of dealing with Millbrook Boat Mattresses? We ordered a new mattress after the Southampton boat show, sent a template in and since then we've had the distinct impression they've been trying to avoid us. Haven't parted with any pennies yet but just wondered if anyone else had any problems - or could re-assure us with a positive experience?

Dear Bilge Rat, Warning do not use this company. We have had two pocket sprung mattresses made for our yacht by this company , delivered in October 2012. They have a very swish web site but I am afraid this is where it ends. The mattresses have both failed, one has split on its sidewall and the other has dipped in the middle. I am 12 1/2 stone , so not that heavy and one side has sunk to the point where you have to roll to get out of it. I am really disappointed as their after sales support was really not interested and like you, seemed to avoid me when I called. If you call their free phone number to sell you something they answer immediately but say they cant do support and give you another number. Also when in mentioned I had a Jeanneau DS45 the operator said she had not heard of this make of boat before! Tells me they are not really serious about these mattresses. I don’t know if anybody else has had problems as I would really like my money back
