We are having our club bbq today (Sat 7 ).
I of course will be sinking some cans, and having the odd drumstick.

I would rather be out sailing, but we all know the story .
We have got to show a bit of willing sometimes :D:D.
On water on Sunday..

That is all...:p:p:p
Last time we had club bbq, Mrs Millbeach got drunk ,:eek:
I will never make the "comadore" now :mad:

" you can take the girl out of the estate, but you cant take the estate out of the girl " :):):):)

Hi Tony,
I hope everything went well yesterday. I would have loved to have been there but my daughter had a swimming gala. So I melted in the tropical heat of the spectators stands from 2 until about 8.30.
I hope to get Silver Ann in the water for next Sunday, about a month later than last year.
How long has Fantasy been in the water?

HI, Mike.
Yes Fantasy been in water now since 16th April.

Your dads been down working on Silver Ann, sails all on and washed down.
If your going in on Sunday will try to pop down and give a hand,
BBQ went well.
Wife did not get drunk, just bit a few times by nats..:p:p.

Hi Tony,
Yes my dads been fantastic, I've been down a couple of times in th least few weeks, the last time he scraped and anti fouled the boat by himself, whilst I got the engine serviced any running. Which is not bad as his 73rd birthday was the next day!
I'm not sure we're going to make a Sunday launch now, we still have a couple of jobs to do, I was hoping to get down today but my boiler at home has broken, I'm having to wait for a new one to be delivered.

Have you every sailed with a spinnaker?
I found Silver Ann's, stowed away up front, so after checking it was ok, I've been buying spannaker poles, new sheets and the like, so I can give it a go.
I've alway fancied flying a kite!

Glad the BBQ, went ok.
Mik
