I think you are way out of date. Electronic calculators are not allowed in examinations to this very day. It certainly depends on the examination in question, but at all levels of Mathematics, calculators are not allowed in at least one examination paper at GCSE and GCE.
Please do not try and contradict me as this is my profession.
Just asked my daughter about calculators.
She is at Uni studying Pure and Applied Maths and is allowed to use calculators in most of her exams.
At what level is it your profession I wonder ?
