Mildew on lifejackets

As a charter boat we have 14 lifejackets on board! Unfortunately some people put them away wet and caused Mildew. They are not self inflate type. Anyone with experience of gettig rid of mildew?

I anticipate that removing the gas cylinder and put them through a washing machine is a bit drastic.

Polycell 3in1 Mildew Remover, a soft nail brush and a good rinse after - dry well before stowing them this time.

hi i do mine , this way house hold bleach strong mix in bath put jackets in weigh down leave i day all mold gone no hard graft this way and cheap rince in cold water hang on line to dry out hope this helps dave

Dettox mould and mildew remover has always worked well for me. About £2 should do them all
