Anything one should be aware of , Red Boards, locks out of action, draw downs etc etc. Which lock at Teddington is active at the Mo.
Its a beautiful Greenline up for sale ....not a hybrid , single fuel sipping diesel, ideal for the Thames but not for frequent coastal work.

Next month is rowing events season.
Be aware of closures along the "Championship Course" between Putney and Mortlake.

Full closures:
Mortlake Reach to Barn Elms Reach - Head of the River Races | Port of London Authority

Restrictions::
Barn Elms Reach to Mortlake Reach - Oxford and Cambridge University Pre-Boat Race Fixtures | Port of London Authority

If delayed until April, Tideway Week (the seven days before and including the The Boat Race) will have closures and restrictions, too. I can't find the NTM for that, perhaps not released as yet.

Thanks.
Still awaiting the skipper to decide on a date, weather and tides.
Personally much prefer all in one hit.

The barge lock is the only one in use at Tedd. If the lights don’t work just give them a bell unless you like waiting for quite some time !

Must be nice, OG is even on his flybridge!

Spend most of day cleaning starboard side of boat, turned it round today to do the other side.
Might put it on the blocks on Saturday...07.00 HW about right................shaft and prop anodes desperately need doing.
Pirates Cave doing a £20.00 off deal on A/F as well.
Weather looks half OK.

Now on yellows/ no stream warnings all the way up to Penton Hook - Penton Hook to Chertsey lock was the last stretch to change fron red. When coming down the cut to Penton Marina as you approach the clubhouse you'll see a green marker buoy. Keep well, to Port of it. Hug the shoreline as much as possible. Its marking shallows, which become a small island in the summer. No idea of its exact location this year yet. Hopefully all the oil on the water at that end of the marina by TBS will now be gone - 3 sunk boats which caught fire. They've now been removed, but there was a lot of oil and debris in the water

On Monday, when you wrote this, PH to Chertsey was showing red on the EAs website and the red flags were out in the marina, no doubt because they just look at the website.
It didn’t make much sense to me because upstream of us the river was on yellows and above that there were no stream warnings. So where is all the water coming from to make PH-Chertsey red?
There is the River Colne joining at Staines but that’s not very big, certainly not large enough to cause this section of the Thames to go red.
I had a look on foot and the boards at the locks were all yellow, so I’m thinking the website wasn’t correct. As indeed there was for months, on the website, a reach shown in the middle of the river which shouldn’t be there.
I went out on the boat, first trip out this year, first to Staines and then to Shepperton, all on yellows. Still quite a flow though, not to be underestimated. I tied up at Lady Lindsey’s lawn, facing upstream of course, and the flow was considerable along there, although it is the outside of the bend so expected, but a reminder anyway of not to underestimate the power of the river even on yellows.
