Jeez, you guys are a long way from the open sea! Are you mostly dinghy-sailors on lakes, or temporarily frustrated land-locked deep-sea men?

One keeps a yacht on the East Coast, others in Plymouth and the Solent. Mine is in Falmouth. Some are trailer sailors. I'd dare to suggest that we do more sailing than a good many people who live a handful of miles from the coast.

No where in the UK is far from the sea. Used to live in Halesowen and the bulls head at Lye was my local.

Now I live 600 Km from my boat but use it more than the Durban locals as I stay on it for 3 weeks every 2 months.

If I ever get back to the UK again I would stay with in brother so if there is a meet while I an around I would pay you a visit come.
