The Neptune DSC radio manual states that, "If connected to a GPS receiver (GPS200), the transceiver will display the vessel position . . . "
It doesn't state what is meant by GPS200; and the Technical Specification contains no information on connectivity: NMEA protocol, etc.
Has anyone succeeded in linking this radio with a GPS?

GPS200...

The Midland Neptune is marketed by CTE in Italy. The GPS200 is their own GPS receiver, which outputs NMEA data. Your manual ought to say how NMEA data can be connected to the Neptune.

...and the data cable...

...and if you need a data cable to plug in to the Neptune, you can buy one here (described as "Regatta III and Midland DSC radio NMEA cable").

Re: ...and the data cable...

Thanks for your informative replies. I know the NMEA outputs from my Furuno GPS so must assume that the data cable I received with the Midland Neptune DSC radio is faulty. (I obtained the radio through a boat swap with my daughter who had never used the DSC function).
I've ordered a replacement cable following your advices.
