i want to buy one for backing up data and upgrading software etc. Latest C125.

Is there a maximum size? They was a max size on the old E series i know. Can't find it in the manual. Thought i'd go to the navionics site and find out the size of their chart chips. What a USELESS website with a USELESS FAQ. If you don't know the max size for raymarine and are near your chart chip, what size is it??

thanks :)

Page 10 of the manual says that they take micro SDHC cards with a maximum capacity of 32GB.

Can't think that you'd ever need that much. 2GB sounds plenty.

It does indeed. Buried amongst all the warnings including "warming gets hot in the sun you might burn you finger if using the touch screen". Like the "warning may contain nuts" warning on a pack of peanuts I tend to filter out these sections. In the section about the microSD card it doesn't mention it.

Who write this stuff!!

Anyway thank you for pointing it out.

I looked at the SD card section, decided that I wouldn't risk the fact that it might not take a SDHC card and ended up buying a 2GB one, only to stumble across it in amongst the warnings bit later. Have to say a 2GB one seems plenty big enough though.
