Mike was a famous designer and ocean cruising yachtsman. He was the designer at Laurent Giles in the era that 'they' designed the GK 29 , Starlight 30 etc.

His own boat was Blackjack and he also designed Brown Bear which is the definitive long distance, rugged cruising boat.

Probably too sporty if it’s still for sale will go and have a look.Would be better if it was only 8 meters as berth get more expensive.
