METS Any one going

I will see you for a brew then bart

you will be more busy then me I suppose,
I just need to see the folks from Yachrouter.com and probably order a new G3/G4/Wifi router from them
and to find a nice big fearlead with integrated cleat for placing on the sides of BA.
and then a few more stands going to say hello

see you there !

If you stumble upon the Ocean Yacht Systems stand (we make bow thrusters and stuff ) mention Colin the machinist and you may get a tea bag in a cup, don't mention me and you'll probably get a glass of champers.

EME from here is on the Lumishore stand, as is Jenny who works full time on my boat (she is helping out the Lumishore team this week). Hall 3, stand 13.210 in the "UK pavilion", one of the halls in the right hand half of the show as you enter the main entrance

Currently doing a headless chicken routine. Ship dumped us off this morning in Yarmouth.
Drive home to Yorkshire, dump off 1 bag and pick another up, then straight out to Leeds Bradford..
Cutting it fine me thinks...

I doubt this is any use Bart as there is only one of them, and I've no idea if £300 + VAT is a good price or not

I'll be there on wednesday,
alway's prepared for a coffee, no beer have to drive back home
Bart, I'm specifically interested in looking at replacement helm seats. Will there be exhibitors for this kind of equipment at METS and do they welcome private visitors as I know its a trade show primarily?

Whoops scrub that question. Just seen the opening dates and its only 3 days starting today so I can't make it sadly

Nick, pls explain, I don't understand ?

this model would be perfect for BA, as the shape of the fairlead, and the cleat, are very similar to the Original seperate parts on the boat.
the price seems very good afaik
would just like to know how it looks from the inside,
and if the depth can be adapted / cut

last year I found ceveral Italian makes of this stuff at Mets, some are Original suppliers to Canados

thanks for the tip !

Underneath the photo in my last post is a link to the website selling it, but it's old stock so there is only one available. That's why I doubt it will be any use to you, even if it's the right size and shape, because I assume you want to put one each side of your boat, and of course you want both the same.

I only posted it just in case you only needed one, or could find a new one to match it. It may even be worth phoning them, though normally they can't get more of the same items, as they just buy "job lots" of redundant stock from the UK boat builders or dealers.

Mike I'll have a look at helm seats for you, but I think that Recaro is the one you want eventually.
and some custom made folding or pivoting support frame ;-)

this is for your inside helm station iirc ?
