I look at all the various weather sites and try and look forward to sometimes the hope of some decent weather. At the moment the surface pressure chart is showing waaaaaaaaay out to the west High pressure, am I fooling myself again that settled weather is on its way?

I will take this opportunity to add my thanks to Simon the weather man for sharing his forecasts and the information he provides from which I find his easy manner in putting it across informative and an education to.

Well I was hoping so for the end of next week, but the GFS model is now showing rain / wind / **** for Sat.25th! Will it never end...

Think we might jump on the ferry to Roscoff instead and spend some Euros in a good restaurant. Actually we've never been there. Is it any good as place for a day trip (on a ferry I mean)?

Yes! There are plenty of decent restaurants, and a couple of really good ones. We two spent 5 days there, in late winter, taking advantage of a Brittany Ferries deal and 'cloverleafed' around the area in the car.

We'd certainly go back again for a short break.

Enjoi!

:)
