I have heard about people sticking their oar in about the reason I got banned from YBW, these include :-
1. Sending threatening e-mails to people threatening harm
2. Posting a picture of a dead person in war on rememberence day
3. Broken forum rules by using other names
4. He is banned from RibNet
My replies are:-
1. I have never ever sent a threatening e-mail or PM in my life to anyone, this is liabless!
2. I did post a picture, it was no different to any picture that is on news at ten or in the newspapers, it was to remind people of the horror's of war on rememberence day, a picture paints a thousand words. Remember I have fought as a commando in a war and seen death at close quarters, those wimps that hide behind user names have more than likely never faced battle, what right have they to make me hide the real facts.
3. So is this the Pot calling the Kettle Black, how many other users have dual names?
4. I am NOT banned from RibNet, I am a current user.

Not many. However, be very careful about going home with anyone calling herself "Miss Petra Danka" unless you are into ladyboys

I dont want my face plastered all over the forum either . I cant see anything wrong with going out on your boat with your wife and kids and not wanting pictures of the event plastered all over the internet . I know if a forum member takes my pic the first thing i say is dont put it on the bloody forum . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I remember posting a photo of Pete with his face 'pixilated' out. He had his reasons for the request and I accepted them. So what is the problem?

This was a forum get-together, not someone with a 400mm lens intruding on your family day out. There was a BBQ, and a group photo: you didn't actually know who was who and it didn't really matter. Everyone's face was visible EXCEPT GC1's, who insisted that his face be pixellated out.
Then he talks about "wimps hiding behind user names".
Do you not think that this is a little odd? If not in isolation, then in combination with everything else that has happened? I'm sure the reasons you were given at the time might have seemed to be entirely reasonable, but sometimes the words don't always match the underlying motive.

Hi,
I'm sorry I haven't intervened earlier, it seems that even when not on the site GC1 has caused a row through Cuchilo's post. I'm locking this thread and just to confirm that GC1 is not coming back.
He was banned after a number of warnings from Keith and the image posted was not suitable for the forums.
