Calling all Merry Fisher 895 owners.
I have been wanting to remove the cockpit canopy/awning to give it a clean and waterproof. I tried to do this last weekend and failed miserably. Removing the screws from the tensioning poles did not allowed me to remove them from the hinges that are bolted to the hardtop, which is bizarre. Managed to remove the port and starboard flaps from their tracks after removing them from the triangular clips and unzipping the whole canopy from the frame to see if I could slide the canopy off the main track but it does not budge. Any suggestions? Cheers all.
