Mertcruiser Diesel Parts

Hi All
Banging my head against the wall searching for advice on the correct head gasket for my Mercruiser D4.2L. S/N OL 099756.

Tried Keypart who can order but not sure which type, apparently there are three variations.
Anyone know where I can get more info?

Could be the VM marine 700 series engine but not 100% sure, they will know.

With that serial no you have the 4.2LD not the 4.2L. There are 6 cylinder head gaskets part number 27 - 881743 for a pack of 6. Flippin expensive though.

Any of the Barrus Mercruiser franchises or Cummins Mercruiser Diesel Hamble will help, you may be surprised with their pricing. What point is there owning a marine engine distributorship without a parts revenue stream.

Got my 4.2 VM head and gaskets from them at 01246 455350 Chesterfield i think If i remember i had to have the spacers shortened as the new head gasket spread beyond the head itself and the block.
