Merry fisher 805 throttle sticky

Has anybody had a problem with there throttle sticking while going from forward to reverse its a merry fisher 805 with a inboard nani engine

Likely an obvious reply…but have you checked your cables and gear linkages down below ? I’d also say the other obvious thing too…just in case. You’ll likely know this already, but just in case….it’s not usually a great idea to go from forward to reverse too quickly. Very harsh on things. The prop will still be turning if you do. The equivalent almost of trying to put your car in reverse, when still moving forward almost. Lot of forces at play on the drivetrain, as you can imagine. Anyway. Forgive me if this isn’t the case.
