I have just sea trialed a 2005 805 and over 10 knots or so it was pulling on the steering very strongly to the left, this didn't change no matter what direction I was pointing and the broker said it's because a single shaft drive will tend to do this, any one had this experience?

Also if it has a teleflex type cable steering and helm you may want to check the grub screw on the helm unit which you can tighten to increase the turning resistance, if very loose at present I would suspect the symptoms you describe...

Had the same on our little fairline, was so bad could not be corrected by steering the opposite way, was as suggested above, trim tabs needed programming!

I have never seen a single shaft drive pull to one side. I have had a few!

You might get a tiny bit of prop walk, mainly in reverse, but this is a mystery!

Rudder stock bent?
