merry fisher 805 depth transducer

I have just purchased a 2012 Merry Fisher 805 which has a through hull transducer in the lazerette locker and it does not work
Is this replaceable without lifting her out of the water

If it’s an actual “through hull” then the boat will need to be lifted.
if it’s just mounted in the hull then the signal “shoots through” then yes it can be changed without lifting.

If it’s the same as my Antares it’ll be an Airmar B117 through hull. Boat will need lifting to replace but worth checking the wiring and connections through to the head unit as far as possible. The plug on mine had been cut off, I assume to aid running the cable, and had been badly rejoined. I rewired it properly and it now works as it should.
