I picked up a previously owned Merc 3.5 4 stroke supposedly right out of the ship. First thing I noticed is the oil site glass was completely filled, not between the marks. I then saw the fuel shut off (red tab) was loose. Upon inspection I found it was not connected to anything. The valve itself looked upside down and is leaking fuel. I can't figure out how to remove the red fuel shut off tab to replace it. And to that matter how to install a new one. I have searched on line everywhere and I can see replacement parts, but nothing on installation. Any ideas?
