Yes it could be.

or it could be the earth that should be ignition live only could be constant live (trapped and touching engine or just the wrong wire reconnected )

So I interchanged the 2 switches I had... it turned out that both of them were for coolant, at least thats the kind of fluid that came out of both of them upon removing..

comparing them next to each other they are identical, exept for one number that reads, 2192 on the "faulty" sensor and 2297on the other one..

so after turning my key... no more alarm... but even after waiting awhile, the glowplug light is still on.. but turns of emidiatly after startup ?? strange..

wires are not changed in any way, and sits in the exact same places on the sender..

anyone has a clue ??
