I have had an oil leak which is from the top of the engine block which I had convinced myself was the rocker box gasket leaking.
I replaced this yesterday having spent a huge amount of time making sure the mating surfaces were clean before fitting the new gasket. I also replaced the o rings which seal the two parts of the rocker cover together. Unfortunatly the leak is still there!!
Having looked in more detail there is a zig zaggy oil capilliary pipe running along the top of the head and I am now suspecting this. Has anyone any suggestions experiences??
The leak is dead centre of the engine.
