Hi all
Just a quick one to tell anyone with a 2003 or newer mercury or mercruiser all about my recent purchase...
Just took delivery of the new vesselview mobile Bluetooth device. It's amazing.
In short, it gives you all the smart craft info and gauges on the screen of your phone or iPad etc. Tells you all the traditional gauge info (except pinpoint accurate), speed position, maintainance countdowns, service schedules, and most crucially fuel consumption averages and instants, range, hours left and lots more. An amazing thing for under £200. I had mine fitted in 5 minutes after lots of research.
Even if you don't have smartcraft wiring and gauges already, it still works as long as your engine is smart craft compatible. This means all MPI fuel injected engines from 2003 on and most modern outboards.
Brilliant and can't wait to try it out properly on a day out.

I got most of my research done here

I ordered it from the local mercury dealer. It was £199. Pay particular heed to the yellow terminator thing on the above link.
Search on YouTube for vesselview mobile. All one word for vesselview.
Any other advice, let me know. I was at mine again today. Brilliant. Tells you almost everything.

Have just moved to twin Mercury Verado's. Boat based in Portmouth. Do you know of a very good service agent please??

Interesting with look into this
As I recall from the pics I found in Axopar website after checking out your 37AC, you don't need to.
There's already a Vesselview display to the left of the wheel, and considering the rest of the (nice) dashboard arrangement, I would think that this is their standard setup. :encouragement:

Yes you are spot on. We have that view system as standard.

You'll love it.
Btw, I also like Axopar choice of leaving the best dashboard location (right in front of the wheel) to navigation, rather than engine instruments.
With a monitoring system like the VV, you don't really need to look at it a lot, because you have an alarm for just about any imaginable parameter which goes out of its envelope.
