Ah! Thats good advice JHR. If your interested its a reconditioned Mercruiser D4.2l D-Tronic 250hp complete except for a few bits and pieces. Its suitable for sterndrive or shaft boats. I was thinking of advertising it for about £3500. Now perhaps this information may spurn some more recomodations?

Its a shame you cant put it on this forum Dave.
By the way I have a Hurth ZF 63 2.5 : 1 gear box that will be perfect for a shaft installation.
I have the 4.2L drive plate and oil cooler to go with it too .
