Mercruiser D-Tronic Injector no.1 i just had a heart attack at the price

Just to update this thread, when they say its normally the simplest of things you check first this is the case here. The reason my revs were so low was nothing to do with the injector in limp mode (even though i bought one and then they wouldnt let me return it!) so i fitted the new injector regardless.

Some clown had changed the pulse settings on the back of BOTH RPM clocks, so they were setup for an 8 cylinder engine not 6, so was the reason the revs were way off. Was SO HAPPY to find that, but also completely miffed that someone has changed them, oh well!!!

My boat is currently in limp-mode.
I have been told by my boatyard that i need to replace the same bosch injector that you mentioned (0432193698)
He has quoted me £800 for it but i was hoping to get one cheaper.
I have looked online and every supplier that i find either no longer sells them or they are out of stock.
Where did you get yours from?

First of all dont buy it from Mercruiser unless you want to pay massively inflated prices for the same part. its just a BOSCH injector, any diesel specialist can get it. The local company i bought it from was called

As you are already aware the D-Tronic engine was actually used in many cars, landrover etc hence why a diesel specialist can get it no problem, these guys deal with just diesel engines and helped out a treat to order it in. The part is a custom next day order to get it in, but they got it no problem for me, i believe it was about £340ish, a big saving!

Just quote the BOSCH model number on the injector and ask for a like for like.
