Hi Guys. Hope you are having a good Season so far ?.
I have just put in a Om636, which is what I also had in the boat before. Great engine!
Now I am experincing an issue when I am coming from running under load in gear to bringing the engine into idle - it goes out. Please bear in mind that this has only happened to me so far, when engine has been running for at least a couple of hours under load - so it's warm.
Add to this is an issues with rev's going up and down during running under load. So it can fluctuate quiet a lot, and sometimes go down at least 1000 rev's. So it's like it's not getting enough fuel.
I have changed filters before the boat came in water in May but the tank was not half full, but there is no pest or filth in there. Perhaps water from condensation?
Runinng in idle when starting the engine and letting it run is no problem.
I am willing to try what you suggest.
