Meeting venue

There's a bunch of 'Jester' enthusiasts looking to meet up/swop tall tales, and looking for a suitable venue, somewhere accessible along the axis Cardiff - Bristol and Portishead - Thornbury. Some will be coming along the M5, others the M4.

A sailing club with 'comestibles' would be preferred. Suggestions, please?

Perhaps a letter directly to the secretary of each sailing club with a clubhouse in the preferred area with easy access to motorway ? eg Portishead Cruising Club (at Pill), Cabot cruising club (Bristol), Newport & Uskmouth, Cardiff Bay Yacht Club etc.
