I have always said that one of the joys of this particular bit of YBW is meeting other forumites.
Today proved no exception having just enjoyed a couple of beers in Boulogne with Vara (Colin and Sue) in glorious hot sunshine.
I now have an abiding memory of a little bit of the British army machine gunning grey squirrels in Thetford forest.
I haven't been here since I was a lad off the ferry but much better ( in the beer drenched sun) than I remember.
Anyone been to the underwater centre? Any good?

Where are Clive and Tim at the mo, any chance of a meet-up

Nice to meet you too Peter.
BTW The Cabane, just left of the bridge next to the big restaurant highly recommended, cheap cheerful and very good. They do steak.

How ridiculous communicating by forum when you're parked almost next door.

Just been to Nausicaa, feel a little bit "Greenpeaced" but it was very good. Loved the sea lions, the penguins looked a little pissed off though as most of them were lined up on a window cill watching the outside world, bit like the Wallace and Gromit penguin looked at things :)

Pete

Sorry to miss you we have been to Gravelines.
Back home now for a party for a motorspaort friend.
Hope to catch up again.
