Next weekend (all 3 days)we have the Dragon Eastern Championships running in the river and for anyone that is not familiar with these boats/drivers please stay clear as although we have 30+ boats racing if you added all their braincells together x 10 you won't reach double figures!

There's also a Barge match taking place between Gillingham and the Medway buoy. The OFF is at about 10.45. from Gillingham.

Eeeek! Dragons tend to come at you like arrows at Agincourt. The best place to be there is in a steel hull. I sail with a man who used to race Dragons off the Medway and if he is typical then they do have a certain Attilla Factor. Have a good weekend.

Thanks for the warning - the "can't you see we are racing" crowd is getting to be a real pain lately. Do they own the river?

Any Medway racers - FYI: for me it'd just be a few scratches, for you I'd be curtains.

Anyway - setting of on Friday. New engine & sails by July! My bankmanager doesn't like me very much.
