Calling all East Coasters, particularly those who frequent the North Kent Coast and Thames Estuary!
The MYA has changed its name to Medway and Swale Boating Association and broadened its remit to represent all forms of boating on the tidal Medway and Swale.
To celebrate the Association's relaunch we are hosting a Spring Conference in Chatham on 9th March with Tom Cunliffe as our keynote speaker. Other speakers will include Gus Lewis and Stuart Carruthers from the RYA, Paul Newman from the British Canoe Union ("paddlesports") and of course Dick Holness of this parish on East Coast matters. We will also have representatives from Medway and Swale Councils, plus Medway Ports, to talk about their plans for the waterways and how they will affect the 4000 or so boaters that we aim to represent.
