We left Chatham Marina an hour before LW in the morning, predicted height 1.5m, but it seemed to be way below what was predicted. Or was it just me? Did anyone else notice this?

The Sheerness tide gauge showed about a foot below prediction on Monday mornings low tide.

Rough guide... Height of tide will be reduced by 1 cm for every millibar pressure is over 1013. and reduced similarly for below 1013...
