Medway, floating hazard

As per the NTM yesterday there's a large section of pontoon floating around the Kingsnorth area of the Medway, that's somewhere around starboard mark number 23.

Love to know where it came from and if they wanted it back ?

Boat that sunk after being abandoned on Rochester Pier, was raised by Peel Ports and moved alongside to the wall of the Esplanade next to the bridge.
Assume eventually they will attempt to cut it up for disposal.

Do wonder if it was the owner who walked away or more likely a yard owner who quietly pulled it out of their premises in the wee hours.
Suspect it was not able to move under its own steam and would need some "help" to get to the pier.
The pier has been lacking any sort of access to land for ages so somebody needed a boat to get ashore.
