Medway Boaters Fined - press release

With virtually all the staff gone from Sheerness office and everything apart from VTS moved back to Liverpool ? , doubt there is anybody left to collect registration fees.
Be very interested about collection rates this year.

Err, so how does all that river care get done then ? (the excuse ooops sorry, reason for the fee?)
all that dredging, flotsam collected? (anyways its all come through the Locks at Alington anyway so really an EA job)

I think Pauline Pardoe is still down there and she's the lady who issues the bills. There is some huge tides this weekend so no doubt another ton or two to pull out Monday  keeps my woodburner going!!

Going to give my old tub a bit of a good clean up this weekend, making sure the eberspacher works.
Club dinner and dance soon.....very handy to avoid a drive home.
On the blocks at end of March to remove 18 months worth of crud, before first proper run out to Burnham.

Mine has been decommissioned until further notice!! She is due her 10 yearly paint as she was looking very tired so big frame and cover has been erected around her and she is being sanded and prepared. Hope to get her out end March-ish and have her sprayed. Him indoors has gone to great lengths to ensure no sneaking out but I've got Easter planned on a friends boat....I will not miss out on my cruising for too long!
