As far as flappy boaties go these things really are a grand spectacle. We live in the Whitstable/Faversham area and there's some kind of event in the Swale each year which is what I thought that's what your post was referring to.

Thymeseeker is now berthed in Chatham so hopefuly we will be there for this raggie fest.
Look forward to meeting up with some regular formurites.
Will bring some grog. (only for use after leaving the helm of course!)

Subject to my crew bothering to turn up I shall be there.
For anyone interested the prizegiving will be held at the Medway Yacht Club on he evening of the race. Normally a good chance to meet up with some interesting bargee characters at the bar.

Ummm I hate to be picky, but in the time honoured tradition of medway forumites failing to get themselves organised in any way shape or form, the thread says Sunday 31st - which is when I plan to venture further than our moorings for the first time this year - but the website medwaybargematch says Saturday 30th....
anyone know the truth?
