Hello SSB Users in the Mediterranean
Mednet takes place Monday, Wednesday and Friday 05.30 UCT on 6516 Mhz - The object communication with other yachts, sharing information and any safety issues. Last year there were upwards of 25 yachts involved. This year the number is vastly reduced. It would be great to have new people joining in.

Agree. For a cruiser's net I'd recommend 10.00, bear in mind not many yachts in the Med have SSB it tends to be used by long distance sailors so the number of user won't be high.

I have listened in but it is early, esp in the west Med. Also with a Ham set I can't (yet) transmit on your frequency.
Pity since new service battery this year means I no longer have to run the engine to transmit. I have QSO'd with Bill on 14303.
People of course communicate by smartphone nowadays, up to 15mls off the EU coast.
