Planning a year in the Med/Atlantic Islands Summer 2007/Summer 2008. We plan to buy a used 38-40ft boat (Bav/Ben etc) and resell on completion.
However, I had the idea that someone with a boat in the Med might like to charter it to us on a long term basis. Benifits to them; earn a bit of money in a year when their circumstances dictate little use of their boat. Benefits to us; more efficient financially as our bank costs will be lower and we avoid the costs associated with change of ownership (times two).
Anyone interested in the basic idea drop me a line.
Obviously watertight rental contract necessary with depreciation/maintenance/insurance properly organised.
