Meaco DD8L - how to reset device or fix malfunction?

My old good Meaco DD8L has been working super for years keeping my boat dry. After I pressed the 1H timer button it stopped working. I can make it work manually by pressing different buttons at the same time, but it stops running when the buttons are not pressed down. I have dismantled the device, all fuses are OK and I see no broken components. Can I press some buttons to reset the device? Or what else is obvious to be done? Appreciate any good advice.

Wasn't there a thread on here about a cheap fix (possibly an overheat sensor replacement)? Probably worth a search on the forums.

You note that it's an old machine so I wonder if the instruction booklet is lost? If so, perhaps this extract from the troubleshooting section might help ...
