MF has an inflight refueling system. Well it's a 45 gallon oil drum, a tap and a long hose with a little electric pump that can either fit inline with about a 3/4 inch pipe fitting each end, else it can be dropped in a five gallon drum with a filter on the end and is submersable. Found it quite simple in the local swindlers about 8 years ago. Anyway I dumped 40 gallon from 5 gallon drums into the refueler, but part way through the pump started to sound funny.

I've googled around and found loads of stuff, one with just a filter one end, or one that looked to have about a quater bore pipe fitting each end.

To recap this is 12v, long cable, only about 30mm wide, fits down 5 gallon drum, even with jubilee clips, or alternatively fits in line with 5/8th's? 3/4?? bore pipe. It's normal job is to fit inline to fill from oil drum to engine tanks.

Tuther thing is, I fitted it with a two pronged plug, what fits a socket I've got handy, never seen one of these anywhere, except Little Ship has one. Anyway I need a new plug as well.

Best invention since sliced caviar.

Think I found that one, except I think my pipes a bit bigger, also you can fit pipe both ends. I've got a 45 gallon oil drum laid down, BSP tap then about 6 inch of hose, then pump, then the wander hose, so can refill myself or any one else. These days it's also used for emptying 25 liter cans. The pipes a bit bigger than normal hose pipe, some one used to BSP will know what I got, I forgot years ago. It's small plug of 45 gallon oil drum to tap then pipe, no reduction.

Geez, where/how did you secure that onboard?
I'd rather miss some destinations than bring around such thingie!
Sorry, can't help with your question, just curious.

Do you fancy a well prepared slow boat with everything in working order.

Talk about the Hare and the Tortoise.
