I have been an MDL berthholder for 7 years, and never managed to use up my quota of free nights at other MDL marinas. So, no extra benefit to me, but it does show that they are prepared to try new ideas and I welcome that.

They also give every 7th night free to visitors once you sign up for a card. The price seems pretty fair compared to others, for visiting at least, although it would be double my current cost to go permanent
