Have MDL reduced their fuel prices in line with the reducing wholesale price? I noticed last week that the pumps at our marina on the Thames were still showing £1.21, which hasn't changed for some time.
Is that at 60/40 split
Hadn't thought of that. But how come forecourts can change pricing overnight? They are not emptying their tanks that quickly.
Typical garage tankage will need refilling at least once a week. But the real reason it changes quickly with them is competition. The big players drop their price, everyone nearby will drop theirs as well. Marina fuel points have a much smaller throughput, so stock lasts longer, especially at this time of year and there's less competitive pressure, so prices won't change as fast.
