It looks as though I am going to become the owner of a 1996, clinker hull, 18 ft open motor launch.
It has a build plate on the inside of the transom and I was wondering if anyone could help me in tracing it's history?
I know McNulty are no longer with us, but only disappeared in the early 2000's. Were the records passed to anyone?
Many thanks.

Not sure, but McNulty still alive, or rather re-born I think, they may have the plans etc. I think they deal in Drascombes now, I did know, but forgotten.

Colin.
Thanks, but have spoken with new Drascombe builders (Churchouse Ltd, or similar) but they were unable to help with the timber, clinker launches.

Hmm I've always loved the McNulty boats. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I think the various types had names, such as the Longstone I recall?
Somewhere I've got a Classic Boat article on their range of boats. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was looking at buying a longstone, missed it! I have a 8' McNulty rowing dinghy, but wanted a lonstone as well. Still looking.

If you do have the article I would be grateful for a copy. To know the name of my 18 ft open motor launch would be nice too.

I'll see if I can find my stash of Classic Boat mags. I'll let you know if I can locate the article. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
