MBY's spot the boat

Hehe, beat you peanuts ;)
Ok, show us that you aren't an IT wizard working for IPC and spying what Jack is doing: guess what my new boat is.
With apologies for the missing babe, the towel is prepared for her but she's still in the Jacuzzi at the moment...

Me2

Some of us are not on 6 weeks holiday - not that I am still at school like you.

Well done for your exams by the way

Just spoken with Me2, he is just off on hols but did say something about a Van De Valk continental not quite sure on the model though. Is he right?

How do you do that? One thing's for sure that's not what I am doing, I work it out from the details in the photo. On this one the hoops in the handrails belong to Beneteau and the chaise lounge is on an unusual side for this type of boat.

I see what you do know, if you try Jack Hains picture it will not work - i just tried it.

I never knew Google image search existed. (I found the link above using it... :o )
Bit like cheating methinks...

PS That 86 is my new favourite boat. Finally a trawler yacht that doesn't look like a sauna or a Conservative club inside. Could quite happily see the world on that..

Crickey, that's impressive.
I played just a little bit with Google Image when they released it, and found it as useful as a chocolate teapot.
It would have never found a pic like the one I posted, which was resized and cropped a bit.
They obviously improved it a lot, chapeau!

As an aside, I couldn't agree more with your PS.
And you haven't seen any of those vessels in flesh, I suppose? They make Nordhavn hulls look like yogurt pots, in comparison...

Just to put a few things right, I am nothing more than a 16 year old student who loves boats, I spend all my time researching them, I come from a very boaty back ground with my GrandDad being a captain of one of the super yachts in Antibes and a Dad who is boat mad to and a Mum who tags along. Just to clear a few things up Jimmy I have no google imaging skills at all, in fact I didn't even know it existed, I always work the details of the photos out for myself, I look at the size of the detail, like fair leads, handrails etc and judge the size of the boat by the size of the Lady in the picture, I then work out what manufacturers build a boat in that size range and look for the unique features in the photos and compare them to these manufacturers photos. Then narrow it down to the specific boat. Methinks I have have never once cheated and if you want I will give the rest of you a chance and not work out what next weeks spot the boat will be. Anyway, I have hijacked my fathers account and I shall now give it back to him. We know peanuts very well, he can back that I am who I say I am.

Well said me 2. I am me 2's Uncle and I can also confirm he does not work "opposite Jack " or is a Google image search whizz. He has just enjoyed the buzz of being able to win a fun Friday quiz about his passion...boats. Sorry you got bashed this week me2 by a few on here. Keep using your old fashioned skill of knowledge and research and keep joining in.
