Morning all,

We will admit that this is not the raunchiest picture we've featured but the decision in the MBY office was to try and give you a difficult one this week and test those anoraks to the max.

Can you spot the boat?

Cheers,

Jack

why does the mag HAVE to use "raunchy" pics ? Does the collective brain never rise about navel level ?

yep. Been here before. The use of the the female form is totally irrelevant to what can be a serious photo game. It's exploitation, cheap, tatty, smirky. I have no objection to LS-type pics; they are in a quite different context. For a genuine "What Boat" feature, you don't need any bits of flesh in the way. Boats don't belong to the IPC Connect stable. "Fun" in publishing is fine, but MBY has aspirations to being a serious publication. Spoils what could otherwise be a real challenge. The apologetic "we will admit" gives it all way.

Are part of the "Inspire" group which we belong to, should we use some of their pix instead?

Because we blokes need our little fantasies. Would you complain if there was a half naked George Clooney draped across the sunbed. I suspect not:)

Wait

That's unfair, if that is your wife on board you should definitely know what the boat is...

Okay...

Thanks for guessing but it is not a Viksund - the flag is not a red herring, the boat is built in Norway.

Sorry gjgm, I hope if you find the skipper of the pictured boat it will be boat hooks at dawn.
