If I may throw in another criticism, June is not available yet on Pressreader.
At a guess, it's the system that just doesn't consider dates in the future - and if so, it's hard to blame it.
I mean, I first heard of this from a friend who received his paper copy at the end of April - whiskey tango foxtrot...!?!
Does this "forward labelling" of magazines help selling more copies by keeping them "fresh" on the shelves for longer?

Ah right, I just realised that Readly doesn’t put the date on the front cover. I use the Readly app subscription to read lots of boating and sailing magazines around the world.

It’s normal for the UK. Maybe elsewhere too.

Never mind, it's just a convention after all (albeit silly, on the face of it).
OTOH, the fact that digital subscriptions are delayed vs. the paper is neither "normal" nor logical, in my books.

Front cover aside (which does get in the way) the content looks very good. I read JFM’s article last night and enjoyed it even though I have kept up with the thread on here.

Edit: Apropos nothing really I just noticed that this is my 4000th post in just shy of 21 years hanging around on here - the first number is not particularly meaningful but the second is a bit scary!
