If you look carefully at the Ramsgate picture number 4414/7 you will see me right over the back waving from the window of the Cafe on the harbour wall.
Also, I was there when the Commodore gave you that Burgee. He came and sat with me afterwards moaning that the cost of it had to come from his own pocket. (TRUE)

Frankly, and at the risk of sounding rude I thought "Oh! No! not another club blagging one of our Burgees"

Anyways I was sitting there with a big card around my neck saying "BYRON - DO NOT FEED" so why didn't you introduce yourself to me? also there were signs all around Ramsgate harbour saying "Ocean Eagle is in port please put extra fenders out"

I can remember the Commodore saying he had to fund burgees given as swaps for others, and not being too impressed at that particular club's 'bye-law'!
