MBM Sealine SC35 Video

Can't get used to the hard top, make it look a little, dare I say, ugly.
Seems to handle well though and enjoyed the wake jumping shots!
lots of interior space, but to expensive for me! If I could buy one, would also look at the Abosolute.

Is it Lardy. from 7200KG Dry!
SC38 is only 7200KG Dry!
S34 was only 5500KG!

The S37 is 6300KG dry, that SC35 top sure is heavy

hope that extra weight is not only on the upper superstructure ie. HT and furniture and that some of this has been added to increase the construction standards which lately have been quite negative from Sealine....

still 32 knots with 2 x 300HP is very little
I trialed a 360 Ambassador a few years ago and it topped that speed with 2x230HP KAD42 the net weight if I remember correst was of 6500 kg, she has also one of Sealines best hulls IMO the 360
I think the same hull was used for the 37 Flamenco and S37....

I think you're right. I had a 360 berth next to me and the boats looked remarkably similar. The production run on those hulls must be well over 10 years. Mine must have been one of the last in Feb 2002
The S38 was claimed to be a radically different hull design although the length and beam dimensions are exactly the same.

I like the look of the SC35 although I'd rather have a Fjord 40 for the same sort of look, if not the same sort of money.

I do think the SC35 has too many fiddly bits of canvas which, to me, defeats the point of a hardtop. Also, on the Southampton show boat, the canvas was white and already looked a bit grubby.
